Book was in brand new condition but it was not what I expected. The numbers are not in order with the same number of fruit/item. The book would be better for an older child. I thought the book would be matched together to get the concept of counting but it is not matched page for page the child/adult would have to match the number and the item. Very nice book just better for an older preschool/K child.
Eric Carle books are the best! The board book is quality, good size for baby hands and printed very clear. We have a variety of his books and our baby loves them!
Amazing! When I first saw the book, I didn't get it, but I looked it up on YouTube and immediately bought it for my 1 year old daughter. I'm a high school math teacher and am so excited that this book can help my daughter learn problem solving skills while she's learning her numbers. The idea is this: each top page has a number and each bottom page has an amount of objects. The goal is to match up the correct number with the correct amount of objects!
This is great for learning...but if you are buying for an infant, the inner flaps are quite sharp
Our boys love this book, and we read it to them over and over.
It is a little too advanced for my 2 year old. But she loves Eric Carle books so I know that she will grow into it.
We enjoy matching up numbers and quantities
I love the split page design. It adds a level of interaction to a number book, that goes beyond just seeing number and image on a page - the child can actually go about the book, count and find the right combination. Sturdy, too. Very happy with this and will purchase the other books from the series as well.
